Well, at first I thought I would buy him some new cookware that I saw in a shop, but that feels too impersonal. And then I thought about making something for him, but I don't have enough time to sew anything, not to mention I already commissioned a new Champions tunic for him for Godde Christmas.

like i got my girl a bracelet with a paper crane on it for Christmas
back when the two of us met we was chasing a bunch of paper cranes after they was getting blown round in the wind
it got stuck in a tree and we hadta get it down and everything
but once we got it we gave it back to this old lady who was making a hundred of them cranes
it aint much but it a reminder of back then you know

Considering how Futaba was about going outside and how it was hard to deal with people personally, he'd been mostly quiet about their relationship. But this was Link's own... whatever they were he was talking to though. So he felt he could trust her by extension of Link.]

[Even if he was teasing, there is some truth in what he says. He was rooting for his friends back home too when they said they would meet at Hachiko after the Reaper's Game, after everything they'd gone through. It may not have happened immediately due to circumstance but when it did, he was right there cheering by the sidelines for the both of them.]
